Annyeong, cinggu! ❤️ Just want to send a shoutout and a virtual hug πŸ€—πŸ˜˜to us K-Drama and C-Drama addicts and fangirls alike...hope we are all ok, staying home, binge watching! πŸ‘ŒπŸ» I can’t say we’re are calm and we have stable emotions with all our ever handsome oppas and whirlwind emotions...but we’re in LOVE!!! ❤️ Fangirling is bliss.

It has been years since I've updated this blog site. I'm active on IG. I remain true to my forever oppa, Lee Joon Gi. It's his birth month, it compelled me to blog. Love him forever. But we collect oppas, we don't throw them away. So the more, the merrier. I am also crushing hard on Chinese Oppas.

Let’s stay, safe, sound and shelter in place! 🏑

P.S. There’s a lot of drama, and so many time now to have our fill. Follow  @noonadiaries on IG for drama recommendations. What are you watching? Let’s fangirl together! ❤️

The Guest (Korean Drama) is a Must-Watch

Annyeong! πŸ€—Oh wow, coming off from a successful run, The Guest is truly such a delight to watch. It's another feat for a Korean drama to deliver this amazing take on classic story of exorcism and possessions. It's sooooh good (with perfect story, production, casts, acting, and soundtrack) that I feel I can make my friends and family watch it, even those who are not into KDrama. I’m so affected, involved, scared and everything in between. It evokes all sorts of emotions to make you truly invested in each and every one of them.

Dream Team (Kim Dong Wook, Jung Eun Chae and Kim Jae Wook)

The drama features Kim Jae Woo as Father Mateo.  Kim Dong Wook as Hwa Pyung, and Jung Eun Chae as Detective Kang Gil Young. It's a complex drama as expected with exorcism, shamans and possessions. Dark, dreary, suspenseful, scary and still heartwarming. It helps that they have such strong support group that rally behind their cause and cushions their sadness. Though, I feel it's weaker for Father Mateo, so I'm happy to see that he warmed up to the team. Personally, watching this reinforces my Catholic Faith.

More so, the guest stars and everyone else are as amazing. It's so very well played and acted, during all their struggles and when they were possessed. It's thoroughly believable. Their acting speaks so much than any effects. Plus, there's Heo Yool, who is so equally adorable and lovable in Mother.

This drama also reunites Kim Jae Wook and Kim Dong Wook from their Coffee Prince stints.  Hmmm, maybe Yoon Eun Hye reunion with Kim Jae Wook can work too. I need a romcom after this. And I badly need Kim Jae Wook to do another drama that he finally gets the girl.

I haven't seen Kim Dong Wook outside of Coffee Prince, but I like that he owned Hwa Pyun. Yes, he's dejected, but he has a sincere intent to change and to heal. He's not some petty, oversensitive albeit sometimes careless hero. He's passionate, but grounded more often than not.

Remember them
This is also my first time watching Jung Eun Chae. She's so pretty. She pulled off the sassiness and the heart required. I love her.

Outside of the drama, with their behind the scenes, there so much camaraderie in play. Can we have The Guest 2 , please drama gods?!

#NoonaDiaries of ChicSassyMom for everything Dramatic (Korean, Chinese, Thai)

Annyeong! πŸ€—OMO, after years, I finally resurrected this blog site, and yes, it's now a (dot)com. Connect with me also on the following social media platforms as @NoonaDiaries on IG, FB and Twitter.  I wanted to do something dramatic for the come back, like a Choi Siwon's (of Superjunior) post from his recent Stanford University Talk, but real life happened, so I had to miss it. Anyhow, I'm an ahjumma fangirl chasing California dreams, missing Seoul, and fan meetings. I do DIY Korean meals because Shik Do Rak is miles away. What's working for me is a very, very, very good internet connection so I can watch dramas to my heart's desire, although I'm still recovering from the shutdown of Dramafever. πŸ˜…

Here's a quick round up on what have I been fangirling and obsessing about. Sorry,  but I will redirect you to my post on my other blog site. Fresher contents soon here.

Lee Joon Gi is my one, true, oppa. He is my first love. So he'll always have a special place in my heart. I'm dying to see him in person. I have no such luck yet.

Lee Min Ho compelled me to attend fan meetings (first time, I was even on my own). Many fan meetings after with him, I am forever a Minoz.

Sadly, I moved on from Jang Geun Suk considering this blog site was made because I got crazy over him after You're Beautiful. Oh well, Lee Min Ho happens, and more oppas and dongsaeng and more dramas, I moved on to another fandoms.

Lately, I'm back to Chinese Dramas. Ten Miles of Peach Blossoms lured me in...and then Deng Lun happens. Meeting Deng Lun (coincidentally) in Because of Meeting You (Chinese Version of KDrama Jang Bori is here) made me rethink how I wish my lifetime would be. Hah. Before, I'm dead set on being reborn as a Korean. Now, I can be both, regardless.

I'm leaving you with a Deng Lun's video to love and to hold. More on my IG.

Oh my, fangirl life...let's do this!

Now Watching Episode 1-2: Marriage, Not Dating Korean Drama

Annyeonghaseyo! ^_^ Oh my, it's been a while since I did a post here (read more on chicsassymom.com  ^_^). Aissh, so many dramas, so little time. Anyhow, I just want to keep this site alive. I chanced upon this new drama from tvN, it stars Yeon Woo Jin, who I remember from Arang and Magistrate. He played Joo wal. My, my, I'm mighty loving him!

Episode 1 and 2 are awesome. I'm hooked! I feel the love! I haven't seen Han Groo in any drama yet, she plays Joo Jang Mi, but I'm keen on checking out some of her dramas, which are not actually yet a lot. But she plays her part real well, not going overboard on things that needs to be acted out silly or funny. She cries so well too, I can feel her sincerity.

Of course, I'm currently into Lee Joon Gi (my love) current drama, Joseon Gunman, I'm into Hotel King too, and a whole lot more. Yay, so many dramas, so little time to blog! Let me know what you think! #FanGirlTalk Cheers! ^_^

Fabulous Boys Taiwan Drama Ravings and Review

Annyeong! ^_^ Oh my, it's really been a while since I updated this site. Lately, I incorporated my Hallyu ravings to my main Lifestyle blog site, but I decided to dedicate my drama-loving-fangirling adventures to this site, momentarily. Oh well, I'm in love! ^_^

Fabulous Boys is Taiwan's version or remake of my ever beloved Korean Drama, You're Beautiful. It stars Jiro Wang, Cheng Yu Xi, Hwang In Deok and Evan Yo as A.N.Jell Taiwan.
You ought to know I'm mighty in love with You're Beautiful and its lead Hallyu Star, Jang Keun Suk (trivia: this site is born because of him! ^_^). So imagine my happiness that its Taiwan remake stars my new crush, Jiro Wang. I'm speechless. Let it be known, that Jiro Wang is it! I love him in Absolute Boyfriend with Geum Jan Di, oh I meant Gu Hye Sun. Shhhh...lucky girl, he gets Lee Min Ho and now Jiro Wang! Anyhow, back to Fabulous Boys, if you haven't seen You're Beautiful, hello!!! you're missing a lot of drama good times.

Gao Mei Nu or Gemma
Similar to You're Beautiful, the plot is the story of Gao Mei Nu (Cheng Yu Xi), and the A.N.JELL.
She is a sister-in-training. Her twin brother, Gao Mei Nan (Cheng Yu Xi) successfully auditions for the musical band A.N.JELL but is forced to leave for the United States due to a plastic surgery mishaps on his eyes. Mei Nu is approached by Mei Nan's manager (Mark) to pose as her brother, while her brother recovers. She is against it at first but agrees in order to fulfill her dream of finding their mother. Now, posing as Mei Nan , she enters the group A.N.JELL and meets its members: Group leader, Huang Tai Jing (Jiro Wang), Jiang Xin Yu (Hwang In Deok), and Jeremy (Evan Yo).

Taiwan's Fabulous Boys...the beginning!
I love Jang Geun Suk, for the record, but I find Jiro Wang as Huang Tai Jing a more and better dashing Darcy. If you love Park Shin Hye as Mi Nam, Cheng Yu Xi is similarly suited for the role. I haven't seen her, if I had seen her in other Taiwanese Drama, I don't really remember, but she plays a pretty funny, and warm, and loving lead actress.  Taiwan's Jeremy is funny and well acted, same as Lee Hongki. But I have to say that I love Jung Yong-hwa as Shin Woo more. As for the rest of the cast, the Taiwanese actors and actress are known to deliver. Hmmm, come to think of it, I find Mark more endearing. Also, I like Taiwan's Mu Hua Lan (mom of Huang Tai Jing) better too. I find the Korean scenes with Mu Hua Lan dragging, while Fabulous Boys Mu Hua Lan's back story more welcoming.

Oh love.
As for the chemistry and intricacies of relationships and feelings (romantic, friendship, love-hate, etc.) among the leads and everyone else, you get that a lot too in Fabulous Boys. Plus you get a pretty and functional treat by having great supporting casts as well, even the A.N.JELL's fan girls are fun to watch (haha, can relate much!). So yes, Jiro Wang is the absolute, perfect Huang Tai Jing. You also get the feel good A.N.JELL songs that I went crazily in love. Overall, Fabulous Boys is such a delight to obsess watch! Now waiting for the remaining episodes. Fabulous Boys Fighting! ^_^

Must Watch KDramas for 2011

Annyeonghaseyo!;-D I just want share to you two of my favorite Korean Dramas for 2011. Naturally, City Hunter of Lee Min Ho and Park Min Young has to be in the must watch drama list. Of course, Lee Min Ho is the man! It would be airing soon on ABS CBN, so no surprise here. But I just want to share my ravings for two Korean dramas of 2011, The Princess' Man and Flower Boy Ramyun.

So crazy addicted to Moon Chae Won and Park Shi Hoo in The Princess' Man. Love, love, love! ;-D
I can't help but do my share of ravings for this KDrama in my main site. My, my, I spent three re-runs of this. So that's more or less 72 hours of my life devoted to this drama alone. I find myself falling head over heals in love to Park Shi Hoo too. By the way, I just watched the whole fanfare via dramacrazy.net. Needless to say, Park Shi Hoo is in Iljimae too, which stars Lee Jun Ki, but Park Shi Hoo is such a sweetheart in his other dramas too. On a different note, I'm joining the countdown to JoonGi's army service release coming very very very soon! Yay! ;-D I hope he gets a good drama asap. ;-D

Flower Boy Ramyun for the win!!! :-D
Another must watch drama is Flower Boy Ramyun with Jung Il Woo (Return of Iljimae, 49 Days etc.). Truth be told, I haven't seen any drama yet with Lee Chung Ah, the lead actress in the drama, but she'll not disappoint. ;-D Having Lee Ki Woo is also a refreshing add on. So yes, ramyun is it! ;-D I don't want to preempt, but I'm literally laughing, smiling, and grinning like crazy. Haha! Read on more about it here, or watch it also via Dramacrazy. ;-D

There's actually more Korean Dramas not to miss, The Musical with Daniel Choi and Gu Hye Sun is also one. Albeit, it's a once a week episode, so it's a bit losing its momentum. But oh well, thank you South Korea for these beautiful drama creations of yours. I love, love, love everything Korean (well almost all!) ;-D You truly make me want to visit very very very soon. 2012 Aja! Aja! Fighting! ;-D
